The Botany building at The University of Melbourne was designed by E. Evan Smith and constructed in 1928. The brick building is known for its ivy covered facade, Napier Waller’s stained glass window “Orchids” and the protected “System garden” to the western facade.
Facade works include, re-pointing works, render & mould repairs, window refurbishments, stormwater works, painting, joinery conservation and conservation works to the Waller stained glass window. Works are programmed to reach completion at the beginning of 2018.
