Description:
NJ Telfer Reserve is home to the Bundoora Junior Football Club and is used by the Bundoora Cricket Club in summer. Growing numbers have seen the club outgrow the existing pavilion and the need to provide the community with modern and disabled compliant facilities has been met by Council.
Stokes Rousseau was engaged by Banyule City Council to construct the brand new $1.5m pavilion on a green field site. Bored Piers, controlled fill and 300 m3 of concrete saw the foundations laid for the new site. Structural steel, timber framing, brick cladding, light weight cladding, double glazed windows, solar hot water and power, this state of the art building has the lot. Home and away team change rooms, oversized social area complete with kiosk, office spaces, coaches and umpires rooms make this facility the benchmark for clubs in the local area.
