Stokes Rousseau was engaged by the City Of Boroondara to repair and solve the ongoing water seepage issues. Works included removing the existing floor vinyl and structural floor. The perimeter of the building was excavated to create free flowing air and electrical fans forced fresh air under the building, strip drains, stormwater drains and sub floor vents were all installed to help the moisture evaporate. One side of the building also received major structural repairs, new insulation, new claddings and a fresh coat of paint. The internal sub floor was hand excavated aiding the free flowing air, new flooring and floor vinyl.
